A community based on inclusivity and the rejection of stereotypes, grown day by day through blogs and social media thanks to constant dialogue with followers.
Cristina Fogazzi, the founder
The spark that still animates Veralab was born in 2009 when Cristina Fogazzi, following a professional impasse, decided to invest in herself by opening the Bellavera beauty center in Milan, leveraging her experience as a trainer for beauty centers.
The daily work in the cabin allows her to understand the real needs of those in front of her and convinces her that you cannot talk about beauty without showing the reality: the real skin, with pores, stretch marks and cellulite.
2015: Veralab is born
the skincare brand inspired by Cristina Fogazzi's idea of beauty.WE BELIEVE IN YOUR SKIN is the mantra that encourages not to conform to the imposed, standardized and utopian models, inviting to take care of oneself and one's own uniqueness.
Cleansing, exfoliating and moisturizing are the pillars of Veralab's skincare, which draws on Cristina Fogazzi's know-how and expertise and the close relationship with suppliers, all Italian, with whom she works in synergy to develop always new solutions designed for every skin need.
Veralab, the products
Strenuous research of quality raw materials, avant-garde formulations with effective and high-performing active ingredients are essential requirements for Veralab, which takes up Cristina Fogazzi's frank and direct tone of voice to speak to the public.
The products, all dermatologically tested, are narrated in a clear and simple way with claims always supported by efficacy tests. Double Cleansing becomes a must and a benchmark in the category, making the Dense Oil and Foamy the iconic products of the Brand along with Liquid Light and Slim_me bandages.
A bit of history
In a short time, Veralab, from a small business, transformed into a true Love Brand that grew at a dizzying pace, closing 2023 with a turnover of 72 million euros, up 13% from the previous year and with a CAGR of 98% in the period from 2017 to 2023.
Veralab's extraordinary performance earned the company the assignment for three consecutive years, from 2020 to 2022, of the Pambianco Quotabili Award, given to companies that have the requirements for a successful stock market listing.
The community
Despite the strong corporate growth, Veralab continues to cultivate the direct relationship with its community through dedicated activities such as the Circo Cinico, the multi-stop tour repeated several times around Italy where Cristina Fogazzi, along with her team, meets the public in person. But also through initiatives like the Borghi Bandiera Arancione tour, whose goal is to enhance the Italian cultural heritage. Or the Bellezze@Museo initiative, through which Veralab supports museum realities by purchasing a significant number of tickets to give to the community to bring people closer to the art of which Cristina Fogazzi is a passionate collector.
Veralab is also committed to protecting women's health through awareness-raising activities on prevention.
2023: Overskin is born
In 2023 there is a new turn in Veralab's expansion path with the launch of Overskin, the high-performance makeup line designed to enhance the uniqueness of every face. Veralab also debuts as the Skincare Partner of the Sanremo Festival, a sponsorship repeated with great success also in 2024 with the TV film that sees the company's employees in the role of Brand Ambassadors.
In 2024, an important strategic development plan is implemented. Peninsula Capital, the international private equity fund, enters with a 30% stake in the capital of Reforme Srl, Cristina Fogazzi and her partner and CEO Mauro Marcolin's company, with the ambitious goal of consolidating the development of the beauty Brand, pushing it towards new national and international growth prospects, leveraging its current leadership position in the beauty sector.
