ULTRA RETINOL: VERALAB’S SMOOTHING AND ANTI-AGE SUPER SERUM
Let us ask you too: is there anything more paradoxical than having to tackle both wrinkles and pimples at 30 or 40 years of age?
Two things that rationally (and temporally) should never come together, and yet here they are, both present on our skin.
And when we realise it, when looking in the mirror, our reaction is more or less the same as when we look at the sky when its STARTS TO RAIN AS THE SUN IS SHINING.
Lots of people fight this battle without specific weapons, but trust us, you can.
Because there’s a solution to this blemish oxymoron, and we’ll give you the solution in 2 words: ULTRA RETINOL.
When will it be back?
ULTRA RETINOL: WHAT IT CONTAINS AND WHAT IT IS FOR
ULTRA RETINOL is VeraLab’s effective serum with retinol.
But let’s take things one step at a time: WHAT IS THIS RETINOL THAT EVERYONE’S TAKING ABOUT?
RETINOL: WHAT IS IT?
Basically, retinol is Vitamin A.
Vitamin A helps to preserve the skin’s barrier function, cell turnover and collagen production. So it’s crucially important! As you already know, with age, the skin cell turnover process slows down and the skin appears duller and more lacklustre, as the first wrinkles appear.
This is why the skin needs a helping hand!
And we have taken care of it, by formulating a product with a blend of anti-age active ingredients to reduce the visibility of the signs of aging, as well as to act on the mechanisms underlying acne.
In fact, ULTRA RETINOL contains micro-encapsulated pure retinol, low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid and a blend of alpha hydroxy acids.
Micro-encapsulated retinol:
- · stimulates cell turnover,
- · improves skin texture,
- · exfoliates dead cells.
It also regulates sebum production, reduces open pores, blemishes and impurities, and improves the problems typical of skin prone to acne outbreaks.
Hyaluronic acid promotes the right skin hydration and smooths expression lines to favour a fresh and relaxed appearance.
The blend of alpha hydroxy acids (obtained using delicate lemon, blueberry, sugar cane, orange and maple extraction processes) stimulates the skin to produce more collagen, thereby improving elasticity and hydration.
ULTRA RETINOL, OUR SERUM CONTAINING RETINOL
ULTRA RETINOL ACTS AS AN EXFOLIANT AND PROMOTES AN ANTI-AGE ACTION, LEAVING THE SKIN SMOOTHER, MORE COMPACT, MORE RADIANT AND MORE YOUTHFUL.
N.B.: if you’re wondering where vitamin A is found in nature, stock up on red and orange fruits (apricots, carrots, watermelon, berries and tomatoes).
TO RECAP, here are all the good things that ULTRA RETINOL does:
- • It boosts collagen and elastin production -> Smoother, more elastic skin, smooths wrinkles and the signs of time.
- • Fights acne and blemishes.
- • Acts as an exfoliant -> Renewed and radiant skin.
- • Favours the regeneration of the skin and acts as an antioxidant.
- • Rebalances the skin’s pH -> Shrinks pores and restores radiance.
- • Mitigates dark spots on the skin.
DOES THAT SEEM TRIVIAL TO YOU?
IT DOESN’T TO US.
WHO ULTRA RETINOL IS FOR?
We generally recommend introducing ULTRA RETINOL into a beauty routine gradually (especially in cases of sensitive skin) in order to understand how the skin reacts to the new active ingredient.
As a matter of fact, the exfoliating active ingredient of retinol can cause excessive dryness.
To make thinks a bit easier for you, we have anticipated your next 500 questions and prepared this handy RETINOL YES / RETINOLO NO TABLE.
RETINOLO YES | RETINOLO NO |
• Combination, oily, acne-prone skins • Sebaceous mature skins • Photo-aged skins or with sun spots • Skins with post-inflammatory marks and acne scars |
• Thin, pale and reactive skins • Skins with couperose • Never on the eye contour area • Never in the daytime without sunscreen • Never in combination with treatments containing retinol • If irritation occurs, discontinue use |
HOW TO USE RETINOL
As we were saying, retinol is not advisable with exposure to the sun, because this could make the skin even more irritated.
Generally speaking, it is not the sun that makes the use of retinol contraindicated, but its use on already irritated skin is to be avoided.
This is why we recommend using very high sunscreen, like our Invisible Protection
ULTRA RETINOL should be applied in the evening after cleansing, and we recommend INTRODUCING IT GRADUALLY, so you can assess how your skin responds.
For example:
- - At first: apply in the evening, twice a week.
- - After one month: 3 times a week.
- - Subsequently: assess the reaction and, if it is positive, increase.
SKEPTICAL TIP: It goes without saying that there are fewer problems associated with photosensitisation in the winter.
However, we recommend always (in all seasons) applying a cream with sun screen in the morning after treatment with ULTRA RETINOL.
