What does the “Recycle Lovers” symbol mean?

The ‘Recycle Lovers’ symbol , which can still be found on some of our packs but will soon be removed, has the sole purpose of emphasising that we have always championed sustainability and strive to raise consumer awareness regarding recycling.

To ensure proper disposal, comply with the waste disposal indications given on the pack of each product, by separating the individual parts (bottle, cap, label, box) and disposing of them using the relevant sorted waste collection, in accordance with local regulations.

What does the little leaf next to “vegan” mean?

The caption ‘Vegan’, accompanied by the leaf symbol, which can still be found on some of our packs but will soon be removed, has the sole purpose of pointing out that the product is formulated without using ingredients of animal origin. The leaf has a merely graphic and symbolic purpose, and aims to draw attention to the plant-based origin of the product. The symbol is not meant to represent any ecological characteristic of the product or its packaging. The information refers solely to the composition of the formula.

It does not constitute certification and does not mean that the product is ‘coral safe’, ‘reef safe’ or otherwise devoid of impacts on the marine ecosystem. For information on the composition of the product, consult the full ingredient list stated on each pack.

No. Ultra Retinol should not be used at the same time as exfoliators.

You can use Smoothy Gentle Scrub at a different time such as in the morning, if you wish.

We advise against using the product if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Can I use Ultra Retinol on my neck or décolleté?

Accepted Answer

Not on the neck as there are few sebaceous glands in that area, which makes it more sensitive.

You can however apply it to the décolleté. It helps with dark spots and tissue firmness so it's a good choice.

My dermatologist prescribed isotretinoin, are they the same thing?

Accepted Answer

No Ultra Retinol is a cosmetic, while isotretinoin (the active form of vitamin A) is a drug that needs to be prescribed by a dermatologist.

Is there a minimum recommended age for starting to use Ultra Retinol?

Accepted Answer

No, but we do recommend only using it if your skin type will benefit from it, i.e. skin with dark spots, oily and acne-prone skin, and skin with wrinkles or a dull complexion.

Can I use Ultra Retinol if I have dry skin?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in skin with elastosis or photo-ageing or in acne-prone skin (it has been tested on sensitive skin), apply a moisturiser after use. Our range features a variety of moisturisers such as Zero Time, UpLift and Zero Rughe.
