Except as otherwise provided below, in the case of a contract for thepurchase of products and services concluded by a consumer Purchaser, the lattershall have the right to withdraw from said contract, pursuant to and for thepurposes of Articles 52 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code (LegislativeDecree No. 206/2005), without any penalty and without specifying the reason.
Pursuant to Article 59 of the Consumer Code, for concrete hygienicreasons, sealed Products and, in any case, cosmetic Products whose guarantee interms of hygiene is compromised by the opening of the primary packaging, areexpressly excluded from the right of withdrawal. In practice, the right ofwithdrawal is excluded if the Purchaser opens, depending on the case, the seal(if any) or the primary packaging.
Notwithstanding the above exclusion, the decision to exercise the rightof withdrawal must be communicated by the consumer Purchaser within 14 days of receipt of the product (or of its pickup the "Veralab Store" at Via Guido D'Arezzo 9, 20145, Milan (MI),where applicable); in the case of separate delivery of several goods,ordered by the consumer Purchaser in a single order, the fourteen-day periodfor exercising the right of withdrawal starts from the day on which the lastgood is delivered.
